Had the most painful experience in recent memory this morning. Just prior to waking I had been dreaming that Violet and I were just cruising around town and talking to friends. While doing this everyone that we came in contact with indicated in some way that it was in fact Saturday. They said things like "how's your weekend going?" and "what a nice Saturday afternoon" and the like.
However when I woke up at 5:30 this morning I saw Violet getting ready for work and realized that it was in fact Friday and I did in fact have to go to work today.
I nearly wept.
